Early bird

kingfisherdawnIn response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Early Bird.”

The cycling and bird watching trips have made me an early bird. Here is a king fisher, facing the rising sun at Kadamakudy, early in the morning. Thank you the creator and the bird for providing me with such a good scene. This particular kingfisher came to the same spot, at the same time, every day. Today I have located a pair of wood peckers, who is on a particular coconut tree, at 6.30 a.m sharp. I clicked some photos today, then they are not up to my satisfaction. The zoom power of the Canon and lumix cameras are limited, and my pocket does not allow me to go for a better zoom lens. Hopefully it will happen at the right time.
